“Intimacy amidst the giants”– Stephanie Dray’s novel about Selene, Cleopatra’s daughter, set during the Augustan Age, ranges between Rome and the kingdom of Mauretania in northern Africa. Amidst the political battles of the period and the Emperor’s fixation with her, Selene navigates in delicate balance to protect her family and her heritage.
