I haven’t collected all that much this week. I’ve been working through copyedits and doing a final, careful proof of Hand of Fire. With a publishing date set (Sept 10, 2014) and all the aspects of production in full swing, this is beginning to feel real!

A. Two new Sappho poems discovered on a scrap of papyrus when the owner consulted an Oxford classicist to translate the Greek on his fragmentary treasure. Perhaps more will appear fr Egypt’s ancient trash heaps. One can hope. Such an ideal climate for preserving papyrus Link here.
